Gabriela holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of Western Sydney. Gabriela is an experienced psychologist who works in private practice with special interest in explorative psychotherapies. Gabriela integrates therapeutic modalities depending on the needs of her clients, and the necessity of the therapy process. Her work is supported by 9 year’s work in the public and private sector.
Gabriela has also provided quality training and has been involved as a guest speaker and as a presenter at conferences and workshops. Gabriela is fully registered with the Psychologist Board of Australia (AHPRA) and a Full Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is an approved supervisor by the Psychology Board of Australia.
Gabriela has also completed additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Group work, Family Therapy and Behaviour Intervention. She specialises in treating adults and adolescents with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, bereavement and eating disorders. Gabriela is a dedicated and gentle therapist who is very passionate about her work.
She is the director of BPsych Clinic. In addition, Gabriela is the state (NSW) representative of APS Psychology of Eating, Weight and Body Image Interest group, promoting ongoing professional development and training for health care practitioners.
